According to the report, the police officers summoned to the scene found the adult son of the building's owner next to her body, preparing himself breakfast in the kitchen. The person who found Cupa was the building's owner, who reported to the police that there was a dead stranger in her son's apartment. When the officers entered the apartment, they found Cupa lying on the floor, with empty beer cans around her. According to the police, the building's owner said that Cupa and her son had been drinking together in the hours leading up to her death. The police estimate that this is a murder, and the building owner's son has been arrested as the prime suspect.
