Britney Spears decided to share with her 41.5 million followers on Instagram details about a routine cosmetic procedure that left her with damage for an entire month, while warning anyone considering getting injections themselves. In the video the 44-year-old star uploaded, Spears did not spare details and explained exactly what happened to her face after a recent Botox treatment, which left her with a noticeably drooping eye.
"Girls, you must be careful if you are doing Botox. These people and these doctors, they can really mess up your eyes."
During the video, Spears physically demonstrated the damage by placing her fingers on her left eye. She claimed that the doctor injected so much Botox into that eye that it dropped down. According to her, this situation lasted no less than four weeks. "It is only now starting to go back up and be normal again," she shared with relief, but noted that the whole experience was deeply embarrassing.
Spears signed off the video with her conclusions from the unpleasant incident: "Be careful with these people. They are trying to change your face and try to mess things up. Be careful with your body, because it is yours and you are the owner of it." In the caption, she summarized her thoughts firmly: you cannot trust anyone.
The star's video comes shortly after she shared that she feels she has failed as a mother. The reason for this, according to her, is that one of her sons told her that he does not believe in God—unlike her.
