A malfunction in Pango caused a rush to Cello
Pango and Cello customers complained this morning about problems with parking payments. The reason for the disruption: a system upgrade at Pango caused a malfunction in the app and a mass migration to Cello, the competing app, which caused it to crash. Pango and Cello stated that the malfunctions have been fixed.

Customers of Pango and Cello complained this morning (Friday) about a malfunction in parking services. Users reported that it was impossible to pay for parking or complete a transaction.
According to Pango, the malfunction has been fixed. The disruption was caused by a system upgrade at Pango that triggered issues within the app, leading to a mass migration of users to the competing app, Cello, which subsequently caused it to crash.
Pango stated:
"There was indeed a temporary malfunction that was handled and fixed. The app can be used now."
Cello stated:
"In the last few hours, tens of thousands of new users joined the Cello app in an extremely short period of time. The sharp and unusual increase in the number of users created a load on the system, which led to localized disruptions in service for some of the users. We have performed the repairs and the app is now working as usual."
