According to the company, the new collection draws inspiration from the six districts of Toronto, a city synonymous with street culture, music, and fashion in North America. Special emphasis is placed on district 461, described as the local "Soho" and a hub for creativity, individuality, and cultural innovation.
A central source of inspiration for the brand is the Canadian rapper and creator Drake, who helped cement Toronto's status as a global cultural center. The artist was instrumental in embedding the nickname "The Six" into popular culture, notably through his album Views, and this connection between music, street culture, and local pride forms the foundation of the De6ix design language.
