Channel 14 news anchor Eden Harel shared yesterday (Sunday) a change she made to her living space that affected not only the look of her home but also her inner peace.

"I am so excited, the new living room I was waiting for has arrived. My previous living room was all colors and noise, and at 50, all I want is a little quiet," she said.

Harel shared that the result exceeded all expectations: "It is everything I could have dreamed of." The reaction of her husband, Channel 14 news anchor Oded Menashe, followed shortly after. In a video posted to her Instagram account, Harel documented his reaction to the refreshing change. Upon entering the house, she asked him to close his eyes and led him toward the living room. Once he opened them, Menashe could not hide his enthusiasm:

"I was pleasantly surprised. I came in joking, but wow, it's really beautiful. It's like a different, new house. Congratulations to us."

As previously mentioned, after entering the fifth decade of her life, Harel began the process of redesigning her home. She celebrated her 50th birthday during a trip to Italy with her daughters, where she performed a Chabad custom with special meaning:

"I want to raise a glass for 'l'chaim'. In Chabad, they say 'l'chaim' twice: once for this world and once for the world to come. May I continue to travel and spend time with my daughters, and most importantly, to embarrass them."
