Israeli DJ Sagi Zehavi Set for Paris Concert Despite Unrest
Israeli DJ Sagi Zehavi is moving forward with his upcoming Paris concert despite severe unrest in the French capital, with organizers heavily upgrading security.
Amid severe unrest in Paris, Israeli DJ Sagi Zehavi is set to perform in the French capital this weekend. Despite mounting pressure, the production team decided to proceed with the show while significantly beefing up security.
The concert at the Palais de Tokyo comes as organizers evaluate local and Israeli security firms to protect both the venue and the artist. Plans also include relocating Zehavi to a secure hotel far from the riot zones.
"It is a bit frightening, especially right now and knowing the local Jewish community," Zehavi said. "Yet I feel it is crucial to go, stand with them, and bring some joy and light through music."
