A 6-year-old girl was moderately injured on Saturday afternoon after a boiling water boiler spilled on her on Rav Brot Street in Bnei Brak. United Hatzalah teams provided initial medical treatment at the scene and evacuated her to Sheba Hospital in Tel HaShomer.

Yosef Bruchim, a Sabbath duty medic and ambulance driver for United Hatzalah, stated: "We were told that the girl suffered burns to her face, limbs, and back after the boiler spilled. With the assistance of other medics, I provided treatment and evacuated her in a United Hatzalah ambulance to Sheba Hospital for further care, with her condition defined as moderate."

United Hatzalah issued a reminder to place water boilers and electric kettles in locations inaccessible to children and toddlers, and to ensure that power cords are kept out of their reach.
