Border Police and IDF forces uncovered an underground route near the village of A-Ram, used to smuggle illegal aliens from the West Bank into Israel. The covert passage was cleverly concealed beneath a commercial vehicle parked directly over the opening, allowing individuals to enter the tunnel straight from inside the vehicle without attracting public attention.

During a joint nighttime raid conducted by the Border Police's Northern Battalion, undercover Border Police operatives, and IDF troops from the Binyamin Brigade, security forces arrested 32 illegal aliens who had crossed through the underground passage. Four additional suspects accused of aiding the infiltration were also apprehended, bringing the total number of detainees to 36.

Investigators believe the operators exploited existing sewage infrastructure to establish the hidden route leading toward the Beit Hanina area in Jerusalem. All detainees were transferred to the Border Police's Jerusalem envelope investigation division for further questioning.

Security officials view the exposure of the underground passage as a significant incident, highlighting how organizers utilized civilian infrastructure to bypass the security and inspection apparatus around Jerusalem. The investigation remains ongoing.
