Suspect arrested in connection with murder in Hof HaCarmel; Police: Motive is criminal
A 41-year-old man was found dead with signs of violence at his home in Moshav Ein Ayala (Hof HaCarmel Regional Council). MADA teams pronounced him dead at the scene, and police have launched an investigation, arresting the victim's brother.

A suspected murder has occurred in Moshav Ein Ayala, within the Hof HaCarmel Regional Council. A 41-year-old man was found lifeless in his home today, Thursday, with visible signs of violence on his body. MADA teams called to the scene performed medical assessments but were forced to pronounce him dead. The body will be transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine to determine the exact cause of death. Large police forces from the Zichron Ya'akov station and the Menashe region, alongside forensic investigators, are currently at the scene collecting evidence. All lines of inquiry are being examined, including the possibility of a murder stemming from a family dispute.
As part of the investigation, the deceased's brother, a resident of central Israel, has been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the incident. He has been taken in for questioning, and a decision will be made later regarding a court hearing to extend his detention. Police noted that the investigation is in its early stages and that the primary focus is on a criminal motive.
The incident was reported at 14:50 after the victim's mother contacted emergency services. MADA paramedic Hadas Amir stated that upon the teams' arrival, the man was found unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, and suffering from bodily injuries.
