During the program 'The Patriots' on Channel 14, panelist Yaki Adamker sharply attacked an article published in the 'Haaretz' newspaper on Tuesday, claiming that the approach presented in it constitutes "a terrible distortion that led us to October 7th." The panelist addressed the claim that the article represents flawed thinking that prioritized the welfare of Gaza residents over Israel's security.
Adamker continued his critique of the mindset presented in the article: "What kind of distortion can sit in your head so that the first thing you supposedly think about when talking about Hamas and it disarming or passing weapons from hand to hand, is that you think about the Gazans and not about our citizens?"
The panelist emphasized: "The people who, at every opportunity when the State of Israel could have achieved security in the sense that there would finally be real security here, not quiet dictated by quiet, what did they have to say?". He added and wondered: "What about the two million 'innocent' citizens? Those same ones who broke into the towns and kibbutzim in the Gaza envelope on October 7th?"
