Ibrahim Mandalawi, 30, was murdered tonight, Tuesday, by gunfire in Kafr Manda in the Lower Galilee. Another young man was moderately wounded. The police have opened an investigation and are conducting searches for suspects, stating: "The background is criminal, and the circumstances are under investigation."
Magen David Adom (MDA) reported that the call was received at the 101 emergency center at 22:09. Senior medic Ali Mandia stated: "We arrived to find a man in his 30s who was unconscious, pulseless, and not breathing, with severe penetrating injuries. We provided advanced medical treatment, including prolonged resuscitation efforts, and evacuated him to the hospital in an intensive care ambulance. At the same time, we treated and evacuated another man who was moderately wounded."
The day before yesterday, a man in his 20s was seriously wounded by gunfire in Jaffa, and last Tuesday, 61-year-old Hashem Hujirat of Shfaram was murdered at a gas station at the entrance to the city.
MDA medics and paramedics performed resuscitation efforts on Hujirat but were forced to declare his death. Police have opened an investigation, and a potential link to a blood feud between families that has claimed 36 lives in recent years is being examined.
