As the summer vacation season winds down and children return to their school routines, the tourism industry is entering a quiet interim period. However, industry leaders are already busy preparing for the upcoming winter season.

MSC Cruises has announced updates to its cruise itineraries for the 2027-2028 winter season. The MSC World Europa, originally scheduled for the Middle East, will now remain in the Western Mediterranean, while the company’s new flagship, MSC World Asia, will offer 7 and 14-night itineraries in the Southern Caribbean.

Mediterranean Routes

The routes will feature some of the region's most sought-after destinations, including Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia (the gateway to Rome), Messina, and Valletta. The ship offers a wide array of dining options, bars, entertainment complexes, and family-friendly activities, along with the signature World Promenade and World Galleria.

Caribbean Voyages

The MSC World Asia will operate its Caribbean routes with boarding options in Martinique, Guadeloupe, and Barbados. The itineraries include exotic destinations such as St. Lucia, Grenada, St. Maarten, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Kitts and Nevis, Dominica, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The ship brings its most prominent attractions to the Caribbean, including the Cliffhanger extreme sea-view swings, the largest Venchi chocolate complex at sea, and vast open spaces specifically designed for the Caribbean climate.

Information for Booked Passengers

For those who have already made reservations, the company will issue formal notifications detailing available options. Passengers will be able to switch to an alternative cruise or receive a full refund. This applies to all travelers whose bookings on the MSC World Asia in the Mediterranean or the MSC Meraviglia in the Southern Caribbean are affected by these changes.
