Big Brother contestant on his mental state: 'I cried to God to take the pain away from me'
One of the prominent contestants on the Reshet 13 reality show shares candidly about the moment the lights went out, the deep depression, and the desire to run away from everything: 'I kept crying to God to take this pain away from me.'

Tamir Golan, a standout contestant on the Reshet 13 reality show 'Big Brother', opened up last Saturday about the mental collapse he experienced the moment the cameras stopped rolling and he was forced to return to his daily routine.
'When I left the 'Big Brother' house, I experienced one of the most difficult periods of my life. I was flooded with feelings of frustration, disappointment, and depression,' Golan shared regarding his complex struggle.
To avoid sliding back into old habits, he chose to build a tight support system. 'I surrounded myself with good people. I went to therapy, I trained, and I participated in support groups. Every single day was a small war. I fought not to give up on myself and not to stay alone with what I was feeling.'
Despite the internal storm, Golan tried to maintain a facade of normalcy while a significant drama unfolded within. 'I functioned as usual and tried to wear a mask, projecting that everything was fine and beautiful, but inside I wanted to run away to Thailand. I kept going to therapy and crying to God to take this pain away from me,' he said.
He summarized the daily battle against his inner turmoil: 'I had immense pain in my soul when I left. Only my close friends and my therapist knew about it. I continued to live against the grain, knowing that at any second I could have sunk into depression and addiction, but I didn't let that happen, even though my soul was in excruciating pain.'
