Tzofit Grant Breaks Her Silence: "The Doctor Suggested I Take Pills"
Tzofit Grant shared on a podcast that over the past year, her cardiologist suggested she take psychiatric medication to cope with emotional stress.

Tzofit Grant continues to stir public discourse. Following her remarks on Erez Tal's show on Keshet 12, where she addressed for the first time the situation involving Michal Rand, the estranged wife of her partner Shuli Rand, the media personality and creator is back in the headlines. This time, in an open conversation on the podcast "Things I Learned from Successful Women" hosted by Inbal Mtzane, Grant discusses her personal mental struggles and presents a different worldview regarding how to navigate crises.
During the episode, Grant shared that over the past year, she has been encouraged more than once to seek pharmacological assistance to ease her emotional burden:
"I have been seeing a cardiologist for the past year, and every time she tells me, 'Tzofit, maybe you should consider a psychiatric pill after all?'"
Grant explained that she chose to refuse the offer out of a desire to experience her emotions fully: "I tell her, 'But why? Look at what an amazing student I am. Every day of a crisis is a day of pleasure. Why do you want to shut down my emotions now? Or why do you want to make it easier for me?'"
When asked why she believes the doctor tried to offer a medical solution, Grant explained her perspective on the societal tendency to seek quick fixes: "Because people always want to make it easier for you during crises. Do not make your crises easier. You want to ease your crisis? Go do sports, join a class, go to the beach." This position continues the open and uncompromising approach that has characterized her for years, in which she prefers to process difficulties through action and an active lifestyle.
