"Simply a Nazi": Protester justified Hamas in front of a relative of October 7 victims
A confrontation in Brighton between an anti-semitism activist and a pro-Palestinian protester quickly turned into an extremist display: he justified the murder of her family members on October 7, claimed that Hamas is an organization that a "normal person" would support, and compared her to a Nazi.
Activists of the boycott movement against Israel around the world continue to provide disturbing moments that reveal their true positions regarding the October 7 massacre and the terrorist organization Hamas. In a difficult-to-watch video published last night on the social network X by Heidi Bachram, a prominent anti-semitism activist in the UK, a frontal and outrageous confrontation between her and pro-Palestinian activists in the English city of Brighton is documented.
Bachram, whose husband's relatives, members of the Idan family from Kibbutz Nahal Oz, were brutally murdered in the surprise attack, approached a stall of boycott activists who call themselves an "apartheid-free zone." During the exchange, Bachram confronted the activists with the fact that their campaign is directly linked to Hamas. In response, one of the activists not only did not try to deny or distance himself from the organization, but replied dismissively:
"So what? It is related to Hamas, just as any normal and civilized person would support."
The confrontation in the center of Brighton intensified significantly when Bachram threw at the local activist: "I don't want a campaign that is linked to Hamas, which murdered my family." Upon hearing this, the activist chose to justify the murder and blame the victims themselves. He claimed that the family members "were a legitimate target" because, according to his distorted words, they were in "occupied territory." This is despite the fact that Bachram clearly clarified that her relatives were murdered while they were sleeping in their beds in their private homes, within the recognized and legal borders of the State of Israel.
The extreme and anti-semitic peak of the recording came when the protester chose to perform a historical and outrageous reversal of roles, and brought the subject of the Holocaust into the conversation. The activist claimed to Bachram that "for you they (Hamas terrorists) are terrorists, but you know that for the Nazis, the Jews were terrorists." He did not stop there, and continued to throw at the stunned Bachram the assertion that terrorists are a subjective definition: "Everyone is a terrorist for an occupying force and you are no different. I mean, you are simply a Nazi." When she reminded him that Hamas is defined as a terrorist organization under UK law, he dismissed it by claiming that it is only a "dry definition by the government."
In the original tweet that accompanied the video, Bachram summarized the difficult experience and warned the local community. She described the activists as "demons who will soon come knocking on the doors of Jews," and signed off with one word that describes well the current reality in the UK: "Scary."
