"False attribution of incitement to killing and racism": Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir sent, through his lawyer, a pre-lawsuit warning letter to Gadi Eisenkot and his party, following remarks made by Eisenkot in a podcast.

According to the letter, Eisenkot said: "Even when you hear violent discourse. Now, there are politicians who exploit this. They know how to reach young people with violent TikTok videos that say the only way is to kill and that a good Arab is a dead Arab and the use of force and videos of bullying. And when I look at the phenomenon called Itamar Ben Gvir, it is a very worrying and shaking phenomenon."

In the letter, it was clarified: "The things attributed to my client are completely false," and that attributing to Ben Gvir messages of incitement to killing, racism, violence, and bullying is one of the "most serious and degrading" attributions that can be made against him.

According to the letter, Eisenkot is required within 72 hours to publish an apology and denial, remove the publication, and pay compensation in the amount of 100,000 NIS. If he does not do so, legal proceedings will be taken against him without further notice.
