IDF destroys five Hamas weapons depots embedded in Gaza mosques

The IDF and the Shin Bet attacked and destroyed five weapons depots and a launch site belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization on Monday, as part of a series of strikes across the Gaza Strip.
According to a joint statement by the IDF and the Shin Bet, the depots stored rockets, weapons, explosive devices, grenades, and other combat equipment used by Hamas to advance terror plots against Israeli forces.
It was further reported that the depots were established inside mosques and alongside humanitarian infrastructure. The IDF and the Shin Bet stated that this is another example of Hamas's use of civilian infrastructure, including mosques and humanitarian facilities, in violation of international law and the exploitation of the civilian population.
Security forces under the Southern Command are deployed in the area and will continue to act to remove any immediate threat. The IDF and the Shin Bet affirmed that they will continue to operate against terrorist activity directed at the citizens of Israel to ensure their security.
