IDF Forces Located Rockets Aimed at Central Israel in Northern Gaza

Three years after the October 7 massacre, the Hamas terrorist organization continues its efforts to rehabilitate. Earlier this morning, Tuesday, in the northern Gaza Strip, IDF fighters located an underground cache of rockets aimed at the center of the country. The forces acted immediately to destroy them.

A security source clarified that despite the operation:

"Hamas still has a number of longer-range rockets in its possession."

The security source told News 14 that our forces are continuing the complex mission of clearing the area of rocket launchers and explosive devices. According to the source, these are usually launch pits intentionally located in the heart of civilian areas, often in close proximity to the homes of operatives, as part of Hamas's modus operandi of exploiting civilian space for military needs.

This is not an isolated case of Hamas's rehabilitation efforts. The organization's emissaries continue to attempt to carry out terror plots on the ground, attempts that are halted by the daily elimination of senior members by our forces.

Just this morning, the terrorist Muhammad Khalil Muhammad Aslam, a Nukhba platoon commander in the Islamic Jihad who commanded a squad that took part in the kidnapping of Israeli citizens on October 7, was eliminated in a precise strike in Khan Yunis after recently promoting terror plots against our forces.

In addition, two days ago, our forces eliminated Faris Al-Masri, a section head in Hamas's production headquarters who worked to produce weapons in violation of the ceasefire agreement, and Muhammad Abu Shakian, a Nukhba terrorist. Both had recently acted to promote terror plots against IDF forces and Israeli citizens.
