Senior Iranian officials stated that American diplomats and government personnel are considered "legitimate targets" in retaliation for US and Israeli strikes against Iranian leaders and their families.

According to The New York Times, two Iranian officials, including a member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, confirmed the aggressive posture amid escalating regional tensions.

In a separate development, sources told the Saudi Al-Arabiya channel that Tehran has submitted a new proposal to Washington through Pakistan. Under the initiative, Iran would open the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for the lifting of US embargoes on its ports.

The diplomatic overture follows mounting military and economic pressure on Tehran. Iran informed Pakistan of its readiness to resume negotiations with the United States, though no official American response or timeline has been disclosed.

Meanwhile, the IDF announced that Palestinian workers will be barred from entering West Bank settlements until election day, following a directive approved by the political echelon. The restriction includes the closure of all land crossings, with exceptions granted only for specific approved industrial zones.
