Trump: "We see everything happening on the Mountain of Sorcery - we may strike very soon"
The US President reiterated his commitment to preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons and claimed that the situation in the Strait of Hormuz is stable after the US removed the naval mines. According to him, the Iranians have not been firing at targets in the region since the American attack.
US President Donald Trump said today (Friday) during an event in the Oval Office at the White House that "Iran will not have a nuclear weapon. We stopped them from obtaining it. We may strike the Mountain of Sorcery very soon if we see something. We see every person moving on the Mountain of Sorcery and throughout Iran, and if something happens - we will strike them very hard."
Trump referred to the situation in the Strait of Hormuz:
"There are no mines there at all, we took them all out, we are doing a good job. It is a military confrontation, no matter what you call it. What matters is that we have been very successful, we prevented Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon."
According to him, for several days there has been no firing by the Iranians - this despite reports and documentation published this evening by the Revolutionary Guards regarding firing towards American bases in Jordan. "They brought very sophisticated radars, now there is no activity. Apparently, they are tired of being attacked."
In response to a question about the possibility of ending the war between Ukraine and Russia, he said: "We are coming with a proposal to end it. I ended eight wars, I don't get credit for it. I didn't get the Nobel Prize because they don't like me in Norway, they think I'm a conservative."
Meanwhile, according to a report in "Bloomberg", the US State Department approved two arms sales deals to Saudi Arabia totaling six billion dollars. The deal includes the supply of various types of munitions as well as military peripheral equipment.
