The American club has indicated that they have reached their financial limit, offering slightly over $6 million for the player, alongside sell-on clauses and performance-based bonuses tied to both the striker’s individual stats and the team's success. While Maccabi is preparing for the sale, a decision on whether to include Abu Farchi in the squad for Thursday's return leg against CSKA Sofia (21:00, Sport1) will only be made once Goldhar gives the green light.
Abu Farchi trained as usual today. Club sources report that the player has no intention of asking to be sidelined; instead, he is eager to travel with the team to Bulgaria, unless Maccabi and Colorado decide otherwise.
Once the clubs reach a final agreement, the player's agent, lawyer Shahar Greenberg, will handle contract negotiations. Options are limited, as the maximum salary for a player in Abu Farchi’s age bracket is capped at $800,000 gross for the first season.
