Tragedy at the beach in Bat Yam: 25-year-old man drowned
MADA paramedics and EMTs, who were called to Jerusalem Beach in Bat Yam after receiving a report of a man pulled from the water, were forced to pronounce him dead at the scene. Two days ago, citizens reported a body washed up on the seashore near Zichron Ya'akov.
MADA paramedics and EMTs pronounced the death of a man aged about 25 today, Friday, near Jerusalem Beach in Bat Yam, after a report was received at 06:24 at the MADA 101 dispatch center in the Ayalon region regarding a man pulled from the water.
Roy Ben Yitach, May Buzaglo, and Eran Carmelf, the MADA team that responded to the scene, stated:
"We saw the man unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing after he was pulled from the water. We performed medical checks, but to our great regret, we had no choice but to pronounce his death."
Two days ago, citizens reported a body washed up on the seashore near Zichron Ya'akov. Police forces were called to the scene, closed off the area, and began investigating the circumstances of the incident alongside efforts to identify the body.
Earlier this year, the body of a man in his 70s was located between the rocks at the Second Aliyah pier in the Jaffa port. Police and rescue forces conducted an operation to extract the body.
MADA paramedic Sarah Cohen and MADA emergency medical technician Roi Levinter, who were at the scene in Jaffa, said:
"We received a report of a man found between rocks in the water. We arrived and joined the security forces who extracted the man to us. He was without a pulse and not breathing; we performed medical checks and were forced to pronounce his death."
