Asaf Ben-Dov, who was appointed Global CEO of the Israeli footwear brand Teva Naot only last November, is stepping down after less than a year in office. He will be succeeded by Ayelet Lax, the daughter of the company's owners Steve and Suzy Lax, returning the international Israeli brand to family management.

Ayelet Lax has previously served as the CEO of the brand's operations in the United States, which represents the company's largest market. Prior to joining the family business, she interned at the Donna Karan fashion house and worked at Bank of America. Her appointment follows a series of executive changes, including the appointment of Akiva Tischler as CEO of Israel operations and the hiring of Tal Heistein as VP of Global Marketing and E-commerce.

Ben-Dov, the former CEO of Maccabi Haifa football club, Golan Heights Winery, and Hamashbir Lazarchan, has led efficiency processes and global strategy formulation over recent months.

Teva Naot, founded approximately 85 years ago in Kibbutz Naot Mordechai, was acquired in 2014 by the Lax family for an estimated 250 million to 300 million NIS. The company currently employs about 600 workers, operates 50 branches in Israel, and is active in five countries worldwide.
