The Israel Tax Authority seized 41 vehicles, including luxury cars, during nighttime enforcement operations in Umm al-Fahm and Tayibe. The automobiles belong to tax defaulters who accumulated a combined debt of approximately 40 million shekels in VAT and income tax.

During the first operation, conducted in the Tayibe area, enforcement unit personnel impounded 15 vehicles from debtors with liabilities totaling about 6 million shekels. The operation was carried out with the assistance of local police following preliminary intelligence work that included locating debtors and delivering warnings to their residences.

In a second raid in the Umm al-Fahm region, inspectors from the northern enforcement division seized 26 cars belonging to individuals holding an aggregate debt of approximately 35 million shekels. This operation was executed in coordination with two Border Police teams.

Tax Authority officials stated that these targeted operations form an integral part of ongoing enforcement efforts against tax evasion and payment defaulters, aiming to strengthen deterrence and improve public revenue collection.
