Suspicion of murder near HaZahav Mall in Rishon LeZion: 50-year-old lawyer shot dead
A senior lawyer, aged about 50, was shot to death in Rishon LeZion. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene, and police have launched an investigation.
Drama in Rishon LeZion: A senior lawyer, aged about 50, was shot to death near the HaZahav Mall. He was initially found unconscious with a penetrating injury, but medical teams were soon forced to pronounce his death.
Emergency medical technicians from the MADA motorcycle unit, Naftali Halberstadt and Meir Binenfeld, reported: 'We received a report of a man injured in a violent incident. Upon arrival, we found a man about 50 years old lying unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, with a penetrating injury. We performed medical checks and unfortunately had to pronounce his death at the scene.'
Police officers from the Rishon LeZion station arrived shortly after, opened an investigation into the circumstances, and are conducting extensive searches for the suspect. The background to the incident is apparently criminal, and the investigation is ongoing.
