A suspect accused of committing severe sexual offenses against minors, allegedly disguised as massage treatments, was arrested last month upon his return to Israel after spending years abroad. Following an investigation conducted internationally, including in Russia, the United States, and Spain, a prosecutor's statement was filed against him ahead of an indictment.

The case is being investigated by the Zevulun police station. According to the suspicion, the suspect committed severe sexual offenses against minors under the pretext of massage treatments, exploiting the power dynamics between them.

The complaint in the case was filed back in 2015 and relates to acts that allegedly took place several years earlier. The suspect left Israel even before the complaint was filed and has since spent years abroad.

Last August, the suspect returned to Israel and was arrested immediately upon landing at Ben Gurion Airport, after which he was transferred to the Zevulun station for questioning.

As part of the investigation, actions were also carried out outside Israel, including legal assistance and cooperation with law enforcement agencies in Russia, the United States, and Spain. Testimonies regarding the affair were collected during these operations.

The suspect's detention was extended several times, and yesterday, with the conclusion of the investigation, a prosecutor's statement was submitted against him. In the coming days, the State Attorney's Office is expected to file an indictment and a request for detention until the end of proceedings.
