Man Shot Dead in Northern Local Council as Police Launch Investigation
A 25-year-old man was shot dead on Sunday in the northern local council of Yafa an-Naseriyye. Police launched an investigation into the fatal criminal incident.
A 25-year-old man was shot dead on Sunday afternoon in a violent incident in the local council of Yafa an-Naseriyye in northern Israel, police and rescue services said.
Emergency services received a report at 12:16 PM at the Magen David Adom (MDA) 12:16 dispatch center in the Gilboa region. Medics and paramedics who arrived at the scene found the victim unconscious and suffering from penetrating gunshot wounds.
Senior MDA medic Alaa al-Din Bashir stated that the victim was lying without a pulse and not breathing. Following initial medical examinations at the scene, paramedics were forced to pronounce him dead.
Following the fatal shooting, the Israel Police launched an investigation into the circumstances of the incident. Police forces deployed to the scene immediately initiated extensive searches to locate suspects who fled the area.
Police headquarters stated that the identity of the victim has not yet been established. Authorities emphasized that the background to the incident is criminal, and its exact circumstances are currently under investigation by police detectives.
