Suspicion: Lawyer Smashed Car Windows with a Hammer While His Partner Was Inside

A lawyer in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of a serious violent incident in Rosh Pinna, after allegedly using a hammer to smash the windows of a vehicle while his partner was still inside.
The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon at a local commercial center. The police emergency hotline received reports of a man breaking car windows with a hammer, during which a woman was observed fleeing the vehicle.
Northern District police officers arrived at the scene and arrested the suspect. Preliminary investigations revealed that an argument had broken out between the lawyer and his partner shortly before the incident, after which he allegedly began attacking the vehicle while she was still seated inside.
On Thursday, the court extended the suspect's detention until today (Sunday). The police are expected to bring him before the Magistrate's Court in Nof HaGalil-Nazareth to request a further extension of his remand.
