Mandate poll: Eisenkot beats Netanyahu, is the change bloc on the way to forming a government?
A new mandate poll shows dramatic changes in the political map as Gadi Eisenkot's party takes first place, while Likud drops to second and the coalition weakens significantly.
A new mandate poll revealed by Channel 12 indicates a strengthening of the party led by Gadi Eisenkot. According to the data, the "Yashar" party is in first place with 23 mandates, and the "Likud" party led by Benjamin Netanyahu appears in second place with 22 mandates.
Third place is taken by the "Beyachad" party, established by Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid, which receives 14 mandates. In fourth place is the "Democrats" party led by Yair Golan with 10 mandates, and the "Yisrael Beiteinu" party of Avigdor Lieberman achieves 9 mandates.
The parties "Otzma Yehudit", "United Torah Judaism", and "Shas" achieve 9 mandates each. The Hadash-Ta'al party has 5 mandates, as does Ra'am. The "Religious Zionism" party, led by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, receives 5 mandates. A union of Chili Tropper ("Beit Tzioni") and Yoaz Hendel ("HaMiluimnikim") gives the political pair a total of 4 mandates. The Balad party and the "Blue and White" party do not pass the electoral threshold.
In light of the data presented, the coalition receives 50 mandates while the opposition achieves a total of 56 mandates. The Arab parties have 10 mandates, and the parties "Beit Tzioni" and "HaMiluimnikim" together garner 4 mandates.
