Sharon Gal reveals disappointment from Netanyahu interview: "I blew a fuse"

At the beginning of the new episode of Sharon Gal's podcast, the host revealed to Nave Dromi how he convinced her to come to the studio, admitting that the reason given to her initially was not real at all.

"We pulled a stunt where I said I wasn't reaching out to the interviewee I wanted here so that you would come. Now I'll tell you a secret, we didn't intend to reach out to him," Gal said at the very beginning of the conversation.

Dromi reacted with surprise: "How wicked you are. I was sure I was coming so that he would be in our piece. So you lied to me?"

Gal replied: "Factually, that's what happened. You didn't lose anything."

Later in the conversation, Gal also addressed his decision to avoid giving interviews himself, explaining that it stems from past experience: "I don't give interviews. Because I got burned. They murdered me," he said.

Further on, Gal complimented Dromi and expressed belief in the success of the joint episode: "I told you that I believe this episode with you will do as well as the one with Benjamin Netanyahu. In total, the interview with Netanyahu did 3 million," he said.

Gal also elaborated on the behind-the-scenes of the interview he conducted with Benjamin Netanyahu, and shared that he was disappointed to discover that the latter had also given an interview to another podcast:

"I discover that he also went to Ben Ben Baruch. I was bummed out. I blew a fuse. The old me would have said: 'Don't come.' But a friend told me: 'Turn the lemon into lemonade. Broadcast the interview live and then you'll be ahead.' But Topaz came to me and said: 'You can't broadcast this live.'"
