Young Man Shot Dead and Another Injured in Segev Shalom Land Dispute

A 20-year-old man from Segev Shalom was shot dead on Monday following a violent dispute over a plot of land in the locality. At 21:16, a report was received at the MDA 101 emergency call center regarding a wounded individual brought to a local clinic following a violent incident.

Medics and paramedics provided medical treatment to the young man and evacuated him to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba, where doctors pronounced his death. An additional man sustained moderate injuries during the shooting incident.

Israel Police opened an investigation into the shooting, deploying forces to the scene to collect evidence, gather findings, and conduct sweeps to locate suspects. According to initial suspicions, the criminal background stems from an ongoing family feud.
