Apple has officially entered the foldable market with the launch of the iPhone Duo, and Samsung wasted no time reacting. Since the device's release, Samsung has seized every opportunity to remind consumers that it pioneered the form factor years ago, escalating the rivalry with a pointed TikTok video.

In a clip published by Samsung Canada, the Galaxy Z Fold8 is shown opening and closing against the backdrop of a viral Kourtney Kardashian soundbite declaring, "It's just not cool that you are copying me." The text on screen reinforces the message: "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery."

This marks only the latest jab in an ongoing social media campaign. Samsung US has taken to X to target Apple with posts such as, "Making us wait? Fine. We'll be over here, folding 3 ways," and advising Apple to update them "when you're done heating up our leftovers."

While Samsung was undeniably first to the foldable space, its relentless mocking highlights an aggressive marketing strategy aimed at overshadowing Apple's latest hardware rollout.
