Samsung and El Al: A Major Partnership Featuring Gal Gadot and Deni Avdija
International tech giant Samsung has partnered with Israeli airline El Al for a new series of safety videos. Samsung devices and Galaxy AI technology are integrated into the plot and visual language of the videos, which will be broadcast on all flights.
A strategic partnership between Samsung and El Al is set to transform the Israeli airline's safety video series.
For a decade, the safety video featuring Lior Suchard served as one of the company's most recognizable assets. Starting this Monday, El Al is launching a new series of videos created using cutting-edge technology, starring Rotem Sela, Deni Avdija, Gal Gadot, and Lior Raz. These videos will be screened on all company flights beginning in August.
A Global First: Integrating AI Technology
In a global first, El Al has integrated advanced AI technology into the production of its safety video series, creating a dynamic content platform. Approximately ten different versions were produced, tailored to specific flight destinations. Instead of a uniform video, passengers will enjoy a varied viewing experience where visual elements change based on the destination, with some flights featuring dedicated recommendations.
This technology allows El Al to refresh and adapt content over time, incorporate new stories for each route, and continue to innovate the customer experience while ensuring safety messages remain engaging.
Unique Cooperation with Samsung
Central to this new series is a partnership with mobile giant Samsung. The project integrates the Samsung Galaxy device series and Galaxy AI technology as an essential part of the plot and visual language of the safety videos.
