A revolution in the Israeli automotive market: new service revealed

Colmobil announced today, Thursday, the expansion of its business service portfolio with the launch of a dedicated work vehicle rental division. The new service, managed by Colmobil’s operational leasing and maintenance department, is designed to provide a fast, flexible, and accessible solution for businesses requiring vehicles for short periods without the burden of long-term contracts.

Previously, the shortest commitment offered by Colmobil was a six-month operational lease. Recognizing evolving market demands, the company now allows for the rental of high-quality work vehicles tailored to immediate business needs.

The Israeli work vehicle rental market currently comprises approximately 2,500 vehicles, with demand for flexible solutions on the rise. This new service is intended to support a wide range of business scenarios:

• Periods of temporary high workloads.

• Winning tenders or time-limited projects.

• Bridging the gap until the delivery of purchased or leased vehicles.

• Testing business expansion before committing to significant investments.

• Maintaining business continuity during vehicle breakdowns or downtime.

In the initial phase, the rental fleet will feature commercial vehicles, including the Mercedes Sprinter (3.5 and 5 tons), as well as light trucks such as the Fuso Canter (7.5 tons) and the Mercedes Atego (10 tons).
