Financial giant Clal Insurance, led by Yoram Naveh, continues to accelerate its investments in national infrastructure. The company has completed a deal to increase its holdings in the northern section of Highway 6, purchasing an 8% stake in the franchisee from the Noy 2 infrastructure fund for approximately 165 million shekels (with an additional 2% acquired by the Amitim pension funds).

According to a report published on Tuesday in 'TheMarker', this move comes just days after another acquisition Clal made from the Shapir Group. Clal is now the institutional entity with the largest stake in the project, reaching a total holding of approximately 24%. Meanwhile, the Noy 2 fund recorded a highly successful exit with a profit of about 210 million shekels, representing a 3.7 multiple on its initial investment.

For Clal, this is not merely a strategic move but a stable long-term yield engine. The company estimates that increased traffic volume on the section between Yokneam and the Somech interchange will generate an annual return of 9% to 11%.

This acquisition complements the significant stake Clal already holds in the central section of Highway 6 (about 22.4%), cementing its position as a key player in Israel's transportation infrastructure.
