Revolution at Cellcom: International streaming service joins the package at no extra cost
The communications giant is adding the HBO Max service and offering a discounted plan for new subscribers for the first three months, alongside a unique benefit and three months free for existing customers.

Cellcom is launching a new collaboration with HBO Max, adding the streaming service to its benefits package. As part of the new summer promotion, new customers joining Cellcom will receive fiber internet, Cellcom tv+, and the HBO Max Standard package for 99 NIS per month for the first three months. In addition, existing Cellcom tv+ customers can also join the HBO Max Standard package and receive the first three months at no cost.
HBO Max offers its subscribers a premium streaming service including leading blockbusters such as the film 'Fight for Fight', and acclaimed series including 'House of the Dragon', 'The Last of Us', 'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms', and 'The Penguin'. The library also features popular series such as 'Friends', 'The Big Bang Theory', and 'The Amazing World of Gumball', alongside content for the whole family from brands including 'Harry Potter', 'DC', and Warner Bros.
In the coming months, new content will be added to the service, including 'Stuart Fails to Save the Universe' on July 24, 'Lanterns' from DC Studios on August 17, and the new series 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone', expected in December.
Michal Batzer, VP of Marketing at Cellcom, stated:
'The connection with HBO Max is a direct continuation of the launch of Cellcom tv+, the most advanced interface on the market. We are investing in technology designed to provide a continuous and smooth viewing experience and the continuous enrichment of our content library with programs from the world's leading studios. We know that the summer period brings challenges to every household in Israel, with children at home and expenses rising. Therefore, it was important for us to expand the content offering right now, alongside an attractive promotion that allows enjoying HBO Max throughout the summer vacation and during the High Holy Days.'
This move joins a series of upgrades carried out by Cellcom, including the implementation of Ultra Live technology, which provided the lowest delay in the Israeli communications market during the World Cup.
Alongside the addition of HBO Max, August will see the release of several new shows exclusive to Cellcom tv+:
