Roladin and Shamir Medical Center Expand Cooperation with New Branches
The Roladin bakery chain and Shamir Medical Center are expanding their partnership with two new branches, including one in the Aliza Begin building.
The Roladin bakery chain and the Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh) are expanding their cooperation with the opening of two new branches at the hospital. The new locations were inaugurated this week in a ceremony attended by Shamir Medical Center CEO Prof. Osnat Levtzion-Korach and Dudi Keinan, co-owner of the Roladin chain.
The partnership between Roladin and Shamir Medical Center has spanned many years and took on special significance during emergency periods, including the COVID-19 pandemic and Operation Roaring Lion. Over the years, the parties have collaborated on various initiatives, such as distributing cakes and pastries to patients and medical staff.
One of the new branches was opened in the Aliza Begin hospitalization building, adjacent to the newly renovated sculpture garden. The garden was made accessible in cooperation with the Ministry of Health's Accessibility Administration, allowing patients in wheelchairs and hospital beds to leave the wards with their families, enjoy the open space, and visit the café.
The inauguration event was also attended by Oren Bar, the franchise holder for the medical center's branches, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Health's Accessibility Administration: Elisha Tuaty, Sigal Perhi, and Orly Bony.
This expansion of operations at the medical center builds on the ongoing relationship between Roladin and Shamir, which includes commercial activities alongside joint welfare initiatives for patients and medical staff.
