Report: Italian club targets Sayed Abu Farchi
Italian reports suggest that Torino, having sent a scout to watch the young striker against Sheriff Tiraspol, may attempt to sign him. Genoa is also impressed, but Maccabi Tel Aviv will not accept less than 6 million euros.
After two Serie A teams scouted him during the match against Sheriff Tiraspol, reports from Italy on Sunday indicate that Torino has targeted the Maccabi Tel Aviv striker and may attempt to sign him before the transfer window closes.
As we reported approximately two weeks ago, both Torino and Genoa sent representatives to evaluate the young star of the Israeli Cup holders, who is currently on the radar of several other European clubs and MLS teams. However, Maccabi Tel Aviv will not sell him for less than 6 million euros—the same price tag previously attached to Dor Turgeman.
The Yellows signed Aster Vranckx during the break, and the squad currently features Elad Madmon and Yonas Malede, while the injured Ion Nicolaescu remains in recovery and is sidelined at this stage. Abu Farchi has scored four goals in four matches across all competitions this season.
