Maccabi Tel Aviv Guard Iffe Lundberg Sidelined for 2 Months with Injury
Maccabi Tel Aviv guard Iffe Lundberg suffered a partial quadriceps tear in training and will miss six to eight weeks, dealing a major blow to Oded Kattash's squad.

Maccabi Tel Aviv has suffered a major blow as guard Iffe Lundberg sustained a partial tear in his quadriceps tendon during a team training session, confirmed by an MRI scan. The Danish player is expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks.
Despite a somewhat mixed start to the season, Lundberg has proven to be a vital piece for head coach Oded Kattash. In his first six EuroLeague appearances, he averaged 7.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 3 assists per game, while shooting 100 percent from the free-throw line.
Following the injury, club management will discuss whether to immediately sign a replacement guard. This marks Lundberg's third injury since joining the club less than a year ago, forcing him to miss crucial upcoming fixtures.
