Delek Motors, the importer of Ford in Israel, has announced a recall for 16 commercial vehicles of the Ford F-250 and F-350 models. The recall applies to vehicles manufactured between August 17, 2022, and December 6, 2022.
The recall addresses concerns that some vehicles in these series were not equipped with a particulate sensor. As part of the service, which is expected to take one working day, the sensor will be installed and a software update will be performed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The company stated that the repair will be carried out free of charge at authorized Delek Motors service centers.
Once the parts arrive in Israel, owners of the affected vehicles will receive a written notice via Israel Post. However, vehicle owners who wish to check immediately whether their vehicle is included in the recall can do so through the Ford Israel website (ford.co.il) or by contacting the customer service center to schedule an appointment.
It is important to note that, according to traffic regulations, this repair is mandatory. A vehicle owner who does not respond to the recall within six months will be unable to renew their vehicle license (test), and the ability to transfer ownership of the vehicle will be blocked.
