Rani Rahav against Channel 14 host: "Enemy of Israel, you are the national inciter"
A Channel 14 presenter mocked the well-known publicist on live air following his call to investigate his meeting with David Zini. Rani Rahav's response was not long in coming: "You are an enemy of Israel, an enemy of Israeli democracy, an enemy of the Supreme Court, you are the national inciter."

Yaakov Bardugo, a political commentator and host on Channel 14, addressed the storm he caused following his meeting with the head of the Shin Bet, David Zini, and sent a jab at the publicist Rani Rahav. In his program on the radio station Galey Israel, Bardugo claimed that he does not believe the reports published in Israel. His co-host jokingly mentioned Channel 12, the veteran media outlet that often deals with reports on the Netanyahu-Trump relationship in the shadow of security tensions.
Bardugo responded sarcastically:
"Channel 12, that's the army, in briefings it's the best army in the world. By the way, I don't blame the army, but I think that if there is a real investigation, it will reach a very senior official in the security establishment. I am talking, of course, about the investigation of February 28th, which has once again dropped from the headlines."
Later in his remarks, the Channel 14 host mentioned the media personality Rani Rahav following his public opposition to the meeting held between Bardugo and Zini:
"There is some clown, he has all sorts of colorful suits... Rani Rahav, do you know him? This shouter? He shouts: 'Bardugo needs to be investigated for his meeting with Zini.' Hello, I told about the meeting, what is there to investigate? I told about it here on the program in a live broadcast. The man is on the verge of delusional. They tell him: 'But he said it on air.' So he answers: 'What does it matter?'"
Finally, the journalist presented a worrying claim about the IDF:
"As someone who knows the corridors and sewage canals of Israel, I tell you, the stench rising from the briefings reminds one of the concept of October 7th. Nothing will help, the army has returned to the same place."
Rani Rahav, one of the sharpest critics of the Prime Minister, did not remain indifferent. In a tweet published on his X account, Rahav attacked Bardugo:
"Hey Bardugo, the man and the stench! At least speak the truth. I said and I will say again: go to a polygraph to prove that you are not the leaker of the meeting! I said and I will say again: you were an Israeli patriot, and that was a long time ago."
Rahav further wrote:
"You are an enemy of Israel, an enemy of Israeli democracy, an enemy of the Supreme Court, you are the national inciter. Because of people like you, the whole world is against Israel. It's a pity you won't learn manners from Doron Cohen, it's a pity you are not a patriot like him! And you, and only you, are helping Netanyahu to pass on to your public all the disgrace he is doing, from the draft dodgers law to going against the Chief of Staff of the IDF, a hero of Israel, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir. Shame on you. P.S. How much disgrace in one man: 'I don't believe in the corridors of Israel.' Well? Truly, may God have mercy on you."
