Rani Rahav cries out for help: "Save, save!!!"

Since the establishment of the state, about 600 people in Israel have been classified as missing persons whose whereabouts remain unknown. Every year, thousands of missing persons cases are opened by the Israel Police, tearing apart families. One of the most painful cases that has touched the public heart is the story of Haimnot Kasau, who was only nine years old when she disappeared from an absorption center in Safed. She has been missing for 906 days.

Recently, several cases have been resolved: Yuval Kogan was found safe, Eldar Dayan was unfortunately found without signs of life, and Meli and Liel Yaalomi were located in Buenos Aires. The disparity in search efforts has deeply affected Haimnot’s family, who continue to wage a determined public struggle to expand the search.

The family is now taking new steps. The association for Haimnot has launched a crowdfunding campaign titled "Bringing Haimnot Home" to finance search operations and increase the financial reward.

Haimnot's father, Tesfaye Kasau, revealed the family's intention to raise funds from the public during an interview on the podcast "Education on the Agenda" with Danit Barbivai from the Maariv group.

"We promised a million shekels to whoever finds her. We will collect the money from the public," said the emotional father, appealing directly to anyone who might be holding her: "Come to us in secret, you will get the money—just return the child." He added: "If money is not the issue, I ask this person to think about the day when he will stand before God. What will he say?"

Public relations expert Rani Rahav, known for his firm stance on burning public issues, did not remain indifferent. Rahav shared the campaign on his X (Twitter) account with a short, razor-sharp plea: "Save, save!!!"
