Two men in their 30s were killed this morning (Thursday) in a head-on collision between two private vehicles on Route 310, near the community of Giv'ot Bar and the Bedouin city of Rahat. Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics pronounced both dead at the scene after finding them unconscious and suffering from severe multi-system trauma. Police have opened an investigation into the fatal crash, and Route 310 was closed in both directions.

In a separate incident earlier in the day, Israel Police arrested an illegal resident from Nablus suspected of stealing a car and fatally striking a bicyclist in his 50s near the Tel Aviv coast. The 24-year-old Palestinian suspect was apprehended after the stolen vehicle overturned. Inside the vehicle, officers discovered tools used for car theft, including an ignition computer and a shattering hammer.

Magen David Adom paramedics treated the severely injured bicyclist, a man in his 50s, at the scene near Herzliya and Tel Aviv, evacuating him to Ichilov Hospital while performing resuscitation efforts, where he was later pronounced dead.
