Paris Saint-Germain celebrated a thrilling 4-2 victory over Barcelona in the Champions League, but a controversial tifo displayed by PSG ultras before kickoff sparked outrage from the Catalan club.

The massive tifo, created by the Collectif Ultras Paris, was inspired by the horror film The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. It featured the character Leatherface covered in blood and wielding a chainsaw, cutting apart the Barcelona crest.

According to reports in the Catalan newspaper Sport, Barcelona management considered the display violent and offensive. The club is reportedly planning to file an official complaint with UEFA regarding the incident.

This is not the first time PSG fans have used cinematic themes for their displays. In October 2023, the same fan group showcased a massive tifo featuring French actor Jean-Paul Belmondo holding a gun, inspired by the poster for the film Le Professionnel.
