Worse than Bennett: The group endangering the right-wing government

The traditional Likud-right camp, numbering over a million people, is watching these days with horror and trepidation at what is happening before its eyes. A small group of right-wingers, adorning themselves with the title of "ideological-value-driven," are energetically drilling holes in the bloc's ship and working with open eyes to topple the right-wing government.

These days, a megalomaniacal personality cult campaign by two people who have crowned themselves as the camp's next leaders is reaching its peak. Behind them stand negligible percentages of naive and enthusiastic young people, who are led astray by empty slogans and clichés. This is a display of betrayal of solidarity and unity of the ranks during a complex period, a move whose severity even exceeds Naftali Bennett's betrayal of the right-wing camp at the time.

The data is clear: the right-wing bloc currently has 62 stable mandates (a transformation of the "right-wing bloc" known from recent years, with the addition of natural growth and a few "awakened" ones). Burning just three mandates is enough to allow the left-wing bloc to form a government with the support of the Arabs. In the case before us, the danger is seven times greater, as the domino effect could topple four additional mandates of the Religious Zionism party.

The responsibility for stopping this irresponsible celebration of power-drunk behavior lies, first and foremost, with the educators: the heads of yeshivas, pre-military academies, and midrashot, and with public opinion influencers. It is their duty to instill wisdom and common sense in the young voters who are currently in a state of momentary enthusiasm. Faced with this surreal reality, one cannot help but recall the words of Achish, King of Gath, about King David:

"Am I lacking madmen?"
