Channel 14 panelist: "My right-wing friends will vote for Eisenkot" | Yinon Magal's reaction
Moshe Cohen Elia claimed that his right-wing acquaintances no longer intend to support Likud. Host Yinon Magal reacted sharply to the statement during the live broadcast.
Panelist of 'The Patriots' Moshe Cohen Elia said yesterday, Thursday, on Channel 14 that according to his own sample, he has "five right-wing friends - and none of them intend to vote for Likud - but [for Gadi] Eisenkot."
"They do not see him as such a big threat," claimed Cohen Elia. "They are all Mizrahi, middle class, living in the center of the country. I felt that they have a lot of fatigue from [Benjamin] Netanyahu, Haredim 'drive them crazy' completely, and that the institutions are not functioning. At the end of this meeting, maybe one moved back to the right."

To the claim that they would vote for Eisenkot, host Yinon Magal responded:
"They are suppressing the fact that this coalition is with Yair Golan. In the end, either you are intelligent and you understand what the meaning of your vote is, or you are not intelligent. Move forward with me here please before I lose my temper. Start the program."
"Even Netanyahu knows the chance is low"
The monologue corresponds with comments made this week in an interview with Sefi Ovadia and Lior Keinan on the Knesset Channel, where Likud pollster Rafi Smith stated that as of now, the mandate map shows that the right-wing bloc does not hold a majority and that Likud is in a losing position. Smith clarified that Benjamin Netanyahu is fully aware of the situation and relies on the same survey data presented on Channels 12 and 13 – and not on the flattering data presented on Channel 14.
According to him, the internal mandate picture of Likud is not significantly different from the publications in the general media, and the fluctuation of tens of thousands of individual voters is what determines the fall of the bloc now. Smith emphasized that Netanyahu sees the full picture of the situation as it is, without illusions.
