One Technologies expands its presence in the defense sector by acquiring a controlling stake in Kubiya UX for millions of NIS. Kubiya specializes in designing, developing, and operating front-end interfaces for complex, critical military and security systems.
Strategic Acquisition for ONE Defense
Founded in 2005 by CEO Yehuda Shapira and CTO Eli Pardo, Kubiya employs around 50 workers at its Binyamina offices. The company focuses on user experience, human engineering, and development for complex systems used by operators in operational conditions where the user interface is critical. Following the deal, Kubiya will integrate into the defense division of the ONE Group.
Yehuda Shapira and Eli Pardo will continue in their respective roles, and all employees will remain. Kubiya's human capital includes architects, human engineering and UX/UI experts, and experienced developers with deep knowledge of operational user needs.
Leadership Comments
"The connection with One Technologies is natural, both in organizational culture and on a professional level. We are joining one of the largest IT service groups in Israel," said Yehuda Shapira, CEO of Kubiya.
Saar Ram, manager of the Defense and Consultants cluster at One Technologies, added that the acquisition strengthens the company's activity in the defense sector, which is a significant part of ONE's growth plan. Furthermore, Kubiya's offices in Binyamina will expand the group's presence in the north.
