Ofer Winter, chairman of the Amach Yisrael party, responded to remarks made by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during an interview on the program "The Patriots." Netanyahu claimed that Winter would "burn" right-wing votes if he runs independently, prompting a rebuttal from the new party leader.

The chairman of the Amach Yisrael party stated:

"I have heard some say that Amach Yisrael is endangering the right-wing camp. What truly endangers the right-wing camp and the entire people of Israel are the incendiary kites from Gaza, the hundreds of aid trucks entering the Strip daily, and the thousands of Nukhba fighters right under our noses in Gaza and the West Bank."

Winter continued:

"The right-wing camp is endangered because draft dodging from the IDF is permitted and there is no fight for the integration of the ultra-Orthodox. It is endangered because those who give and fight do not receive what they deserve. These issues and others are what threaten the right-wing camp and the entire people of Israel."

Finally, he concluded:

"Do you want change? Do you really think that by choosing the same path, you will get a different result? There is only one real possibility for change in the right-wing camp and in general: new people who were not part of the failures of October 7. New people who will focus more on leadership and less on politics. We are part of the right-wing camp, but we do not work for anyone—only for the people of Israel."
