In the housing price index of the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), published this month alongside the consumer price index, an increase of 0.1% in prices was recorded in May-June 2026 compared to the prices of transactions carried out in April-May of this year. Price changes during this period were found in Jerusalem (1.8%), the North (0.9%), Haifa (1.5%), the Center (-1.0%), Tel Aviv (-0.7%), and the South (0.7%). The July index rose by 0.3%, and the annual decline in apartment prices continues. According to a comparison of transaction prices carried out in May-June 2026 compared to April-May 2026, the new apartment price index rose by 0.5%.
