Niv Gilboa Critiques Or Spitz's Wedding Desserts Over Price and Ingredients
Food critic Niv Gilboa reviewed Or Spitz's wedding dessert box priced at 195 NIS, criticizing its industrial ingredients and high cost while praising its taste.

Food critic and social media personality Niv Gilboa and his panel put the dessert box by Or Spitz to a special taste test. The box is being sold to the general public for 195 NIS following her high-profile wedding. The limited-edition package, launched under the name "WEDDING DESSERTS", includes 12 parve petit fours in a pink box that opens up into a serving stand. However, a wave of criticism and complaints regarding the high price and industrial processing quickly followed.
During the video, Gilboa revealed that the products are not handmade by Spitz herself, but rather manufactured for her by the Biscotti company. He addressed the price, stating: "It is very tiny, it is the most expensive, let's start with that. This is the biggest box in the smallest size, it's Biscotti. Yesterday we had Biscotti for next to nothing." Despite the criticism regarding the size and price, when they proceeded to the taste itself, the panel members and Gilboa unanimously admitted that the desserts are very delicious.
However, the drama in the video reached its peak when Gilboa and his panel closely examined the list of ingredients on the packaging. Upon seeing the industrial ingredients, Gilboa reacted with revulsion: "What is this, I don't want to eat this," and added after tasting: "It's a shame I tasted it, because this whole list made me feel bad."
As recalled, Spitz launched the box just days after her glittering wedding at the LAGO venue in Rishon LeZion in front of about 800 guests. The collection was offered for sale for a limited time in a digital pop-up as an opportunity for the general public to taste the desserts specially developed for the event, which include mango mousse, chocolate fudge, lemon cream, macarons, and red velvet cake, among others. Spitz stated at the time that this is her way of sharing the happiest moment of her life with her followers, but now it seems the criticism over the ingredients and price is slightly overshadowing the celebration.
